Jennifer McKayDirector and Chief Operating Officer

Jennifer is Chief Operating Office and re sponsible for strategic planning and implementation. She has extensive experience in Disaster Management and Post-Conflict situations, and Climate Change Adaptation. Jennifer has advised National and Provincial Government agencies including the National Disaster Management Authority and Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority, United Nations agencies, international organisations and donors, on a wide range of disaster management and risk reduction projects, humanitarian and development projects, and post conflict rehabilitaton.

She has conducted lessons learned on major disasters, monitoring and evaluation, developed and facilitated training and capacity building programs, multi-hazard risk and vulnerability assessments, developed operations strategies, and international assistance guidelines.

Jennifer also has extensive experience in the international corporate sector having worked as a strategic adviser to corporate clients, financial institutions, government organisations, and universities in Australia and South East Asia, providing advice on policies and direction, international relations, project planning, partnerships, governance, and strategic communications as well as serving as an independent non-executive director on Ministerial Advisory boards and other government and private sector entities.

She travels widely throughout Pakistan including the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and in the region. She writes regularly on disasters, peace and stability, and the impacts of climate change for various publications.
